Imperial Tank Driver was an NPC, an Imperial soldier driving the "camel" armored tank commanded by General Veers.

As they were advancing in their camel tank, General Veers asked rhetorically who the heck designed these "monstrosities". The Imperial Tank Driver commented that the controls seemed to be built for someone with four arms.
The Imperial Tank Driver was soon killed along with everyone in the camel tanks by Luke in a blind rage to avenge his killed co-pilot Dak.
